Medichecks, a UK-based blood testing company, approached us with a challenge. Practitioners using their Plasma app needed a clearer way to understand how to correctly label, prepare and package blood samples before sending them to the laboratory.
We created a step-by-step instructional animation that guides practitioners through the entire process, making each stage simple and easy to follow.
A clean, minimal design combined with snappy motion and clear visual cues keeps the information focused and engaging, turning a potentially complicated set of instructions into a straightforward visual guide.
The Approach
The main goal of the video was to instruct practitioners on how to print labels, apply them to sample tubes, and package everything correctly for lab testing. This required a straightforward script that clearly outlined each step of the process, ensuring no confusion. We chose a 2D illustrative approach, using Medichecks’ primary brand colours as the foundation for our designs.
