Dubai Municipality asked us to create a large-scale visual experience for the Director General’s keynote presentation at the 2019 World Government Summit, introducing new initiatives and the organisation’s vision for the future of urban planning.

The project came with a particularly complex production challenge. As the keynote continued to evolve in the lead-up to the event, the content and messaging were constantly changing with it. We worked closely with the team throughout the process, responding quickly to new information, adapting sequences and proactively finding visual solutions while keeping everything on track for a fixed event deadline.

Combining 3D and 2D animation, photography and live-action footage, we created a dynamic visual journey designed specifically for a 25-metre-wide screen. Every sequence was developed to work alongside the speaker rather than compete with him, supporting key moments in the presentation and helping bring complex ideas and future initiatives to life.

The final film became an integral part of the keynote, helping deliver the story to an audience of VIP guests, government officials and international delegates at one of the region’s most important government events.
